3rd Annual Conservation Banquet tickets are now available!!
The Mountaineer Chapter Scholarship Program is one of the chapter’s longest-running and most valued initiatives. Each year, the chapter awards four scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and an interest in conservation or environmental studies.
Each scholarship is valued at $1,000, distributed in two payments:
$500 at the beginning of the school year
$500 at mid-year
Two scholarships are awarded to high school graduates entering college and two to students currently attending college. When qualified candidates are not available in a category, adjustments may be made to award the full number of scholarships.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must be full-time students.
A minimum 2.5 GPA must be maintained.
Preference is given to students pursuing majors in conservation, environmental science, or related fields.
Recipients must submit a written report or give an oral presentation at a Mountaineer Chapter meeting at the end of each school year.
